What is Spinning Babies
All sorts of images might cross you mind right now so let me explain before you click away 😉
One very important thing is that with this approach we help your baby finding the best position for birth. We do not touch your baby and turn her manually! We align the uterus so that your baby can curl and enter your pelvis as a small compact and active participant.
Spinning Babies is an approach to optimize the physical relationship between the bodies of the mother and baby for the easing of childbirth through 3 simple principles:
Balance, Gravity and Movement
Adding balance to your body and movement during labor helps gravity move baby down easier.
What is balance? Balance is “not too tight and not too loose,” while releasing possible twists in ligaments helps align the uterus for fetal position and easing birth.
What is gravity? The female pelvis is designed to birth a baby while in an upright position, so being in line with gravity makes sense!
What is movement? We add a specific way of jiggling muscles to relax what you can’t relax by breath. Add this to walking and shaking those hips.
Benefits of Spinning Babies

First labors occurring regularly in 8 hours or less
Caesareans canceled outside the OR when a last minute technique releases the baby
More natural births and VBACs around the world!
Together we notice that when women restore the balance in their muscles and alignment in the pelvis, birth goes better.
